Shakira, Rihanna And Jennifer Lopez To Sing In Baku Crystal Hall

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14 (Bernama) -- World-renowned singers Shakira, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez are going to perform at the 2012 FIFA Women's U17 World Championship in Baku Crystal Hall, Azerbaijan's AzerTAc news agency reported.

The concerts will be co-organised by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and distributors of "Universal Music Group" in the country "Omnikomo Music Group" Company.

PR and Marketing Director of the "Omnikomo Music Group" Company Zaur Darabzade said at a press conference that concerts of Jennifer Lopez will be held on Sept 23, Rihanna's on Oct 6 and Shakira's on Oct 14.

Jennifer Lopez will present an original and a spectacular show involving 60 people.

In the grandiose events, Rihanna will be accompanied by 80, and Shakira by 75 persons.

Tickets for the concerts will go on sale on June 25 and can be bought online.

The process of media accreditation for the concerts will start on Aug 15.

The tournament will start on Sept 22 and end on Oct 13, to be hosted by Baku and Lenkoran. Teams of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, China, Gambia, Ghana, Japan, North Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Uruguay and the United States will participate in the tournament. Two more countries will be determined on June 26-29.
