Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Pique buy Spanish love nest

London, June 8 (ANI): Shakira and boyfriend Gerard Pique, who only confirmed their relationship in March last year, have purchased a home together.

The smitten couple have made the all-important decision to live together and the 'love nest' is located in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, the Daily Mail reported.

However, although Shakira, 35, and Gerard, 25, may be excited about moving in their new property - it may not be the perfect love nest judging by the work that was being done there on Thursday.

Despite featuring a sturdy security gate, two garages and a large balcony, a skip was seen being pulled out of one garage and was full to the brim with rubbish pointing to a lot of work may have been done inside.

Several workmen were seen overlooking the renovations and are no doubt going to ensure that the property is perfect for the 35-year-old singer and her footballer boyfriend.

Once it's finished, the happy couple will be able to enjoy some of the best views of the area from their new home. (ANI)
