Usher, Shakira play judges
Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are taking a respite from the show for career commitments, so R&B superstar Usher and Latina favourite Shakira will step in.
Usher was the artiste who signed on teen popstar Justin Bieber, while Shakira would be juggling motherhood, having just given birth to a beautiful baby boy named Milan.
One wonders if there will be chemistry between them and the older judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. After all, one of the selling points of The Voice has been the easy banter among the old foursome.

Adam says having Usher and Shakira as co-judges is different, but it still feels good, because theyre legitimate artistes.
In 2011, the vocal talent reality series first made waves in the entertainment industry with its refreshing approach to sieving musical talents by having the four judges on spinning red chairs, back-faced to the talents so that all they can rely on are their ears. Now in its fourth season, the highly popular reality series continues to be helmed by host Carson Daly.
Catch the Asian premiere of The Voice Season 4 on March 31, just a week after it starts in the US. It will be aired every Sunday at 8.10pm on AXN (Astro 701) & AXN HD (Astro 721).
